Roasted Garlic

| Ingredients: |

1 or more garlic bulbs, whole |
|
cooking spray |
| |

| Preparation: |
|
Carefully peel off and discard paper-like outer layer of garlic skin.
|
Using a large knife, slice off the pointed tip of the garlic bulbs. Coat outside with cooking spray. Wrap in foil and roast in 400 degree oven for one hour.
|
When garlic is soft and golden brown, remove from oven and unwrap foil. Let cool, then gently squeeze cloves out into bowl.
|
Mash garlic cloves with fork against side of bowl.
|
Use in your favorite salad dressing, vegetable, sandwich or other recipe, or as a pizza topping.
